I start from a blank page for every issue: coming up with ideas, defining topics, then writing them.

• Brainstorming ideas and selecting topics
• Writing all the content
• Summer issue: local festivals and events calendar, showcasing the region, hiking/walking/cycling suggestions, games and quizzes
• Winter issue: prize competitions with vouchers from local partners, kids’ game pages, quizzes

I design the full visual identity of each issue, with no outside brief.

• Choosing the color scheme and graphic identity
• Full layout design of the magazine
• Creating advertisements for sponsors

I oversee the project from the first draft through to print.

• End-to-end coordination, from draft to proofreading
• Sending final files to the printer
